The flash webinar began by addressing and showing viewers the Adobe Experience Cloud solutions that are available and will be covered in upcoming webinars.

Adobe has a complete and integrated set of intelligent applications and services dedicated to customer experience management. Essential resources are used such as:

  • Data analysis and insights;
  • Content and E-commerce;
  • Customer journey management;
  • Workflow Marketing.

All backed by artificial intelligence – Adobe Sensei – to orchestrate and optimize experiences. The tools can be managed by anyone in the company, with no need for specific technical training.

The main topic covered was Adobe Commerce, which is a platform that creates complete and personalized e-commerce experiences. In this way, it has multiple benefits, such as: scalability, security and high performance, flexibility, and provides high security and customization for B2B, B2C, D2C, and Marketplace businesses and works through artificial intelligence.

Rafael Pereira explained how the growth of e-commerce and the constant evolution of the consumer experience and journey is vital for business success.

Adobe Commerce adapts to the new modalities of the market, being a highly scalable platform with several benefits such as:

  • Cloud system for allocation, making available the 2 biggest cloud players worldwide: AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft Azure;
  • Easy access to the code – you can make the necessary customizations in a practical way;
  • Marketplace extension – over 3,000 extensions available for customizing your business.

The real 360 customer view is more practical and possible than a few years ago within this ecosystem where Adobe Commerce is embedded.

“The platform itself is ready, the client only maintains his e-commerce and it is possible to add other Adobe or market technologies, according to what the user feels more comfortable with” says Rafael Pereira, Adobe’s Solutions Consult.

Alexandre explained to us a little more about the updates, which are focused on security and data processing capacity.

In version 2.4.5 new payment medium and integration models are made available, used to market and govern the purchasing process on B2B platforms.

  • Security is always in line with what is latest on the market, bringing more protection for customers.

“You have total autonomy, in fact you own the platform, you choose how and when you want to update.” Alexandre Rodrigues, CTO of WEBJUMP.

Bunge’s digital transformation

Bunge is the world’s leading company in oilseed processing and one of the largest producers and suppliers of vegetable oils, fats, and proteins.

Agribusiness company with more than 200 years of history in the world and 117 years in Brazil, it connects producer and consumer, supplying food, ingredients, and biofuel for the whole world. Present in more than 40 countries, in Brazil, it is the largest producer of agribusiness grains, the largest soybean processor, and the largest buyer and processor of wheat.

It purchases and mills wheat and produces flour and premixes for the food industry, bakeries, and other foodservice customers. With more than 26,000 customers in its base, 1400 employees, and 7 mills.

With the go-live held on the same day (01/31), Fernanda was the special guest of the flash webinar to tell why Bunge sought WEBJUMP to perform the digital transformation.

What were the market pains and main objectives of Bunge’s new e-commerce?

Fernanda explained about the pain of the company and what its goals were.

Some of the main challenges that Bunge had were:

  • Ideal digital environment to meet specific business rules;
  • Simplified B2B registration for quick release;
  • Customer journey and experience optimization;
  • Need for customized flows;
  • Integration with other partners, integration with SAP and other Bunge service providers;
  • Attend new regions.

“The nice thing about WEBJUMP, is that everything we needed to modify, they were able to meet us and supported us to understand what the best way to make the transformation to digital was.” Fernanda Louvise, Senior Manager Digital Channels at Bunge.

Details were presented about the project’s progress and the studies carried out to understand Bunge’s entire information chain, from the functional mapping to the integration systems so that the platform would adapt to the business model.

“It’s not just digital transformation, it’s operational transformation!” Alexandre Rodrigues, CTO of WEBJUMP.

The objectives for Bunge’s flour sector were to expand the sales areas, to meet a greater market demand, and with e-commerce, to reach new regions and clients.

Internal processes for salespeople also needed to be automated, to make the team’s day-to-day work easier. Sales were done door-to-door with the salesperson, so it was necessary to remove the dependency for making that sale. With this, the new B2B e-commerce provides more time for strategic and technical visits to your customers.

Improvements have been made to the payment conditions, which are at the CNPJ level. An option was made available to choose delivery dates according to Bunge’s grid and the quantity requested. It is also possible to perform this mapping according to the order value.

In B2B, it is normal for such a registration approval to take between 48 and 72 hours. With the system developed by WEBJUMP, it is possible to perform this action in a few hours.

The project was developed by WEBJUMP in 2022 and prepared in version 2.4.5-p1, the most updated version of the Adobe Commerce platform – world leader in e-commerce – the site was prepared to optimize the customer experience and meet the specific business needs of the company in a digital environment, in just 8 months.

“Our client’s core business is not digital, it is physical. To make this migration simple, we wanted their experience on the site to be as natural and intuitive as baking bread,” says Fernanda Louvise, Senior Manager Digital Channels at Bunge.

Having more services available for the customer and facilities for the salesperson.

“Today the solution we bring to market, with Adobe Commerce, we were able to get the solution 100% integrated with our ERP. We didn’t want to have adaptation or manual management to get that integration and we needed it to be a customized platform for our customer.” Fernanda Louvise, Senior Manager Digital Channels at Bunge.
