Department store uses Adobe Commerce, Magento platform, to accelerate its digital transformation.

Havan, one of the largest retailers in Brazil, chose the scalability of the Magento platform to expand its operations in national e-commerce. The migration to Magento Cloud was aimed at accelerating, even more, the growth of the network , since the company needed a more robust platform, which would support the large number of accesses.

The main challenge was to expand the range of omnichannel services and experiences offered by Havan. For this, implementations were customized to meet customer demand to enable users to buy online and pick up in store, for example.

Present in 17 states and with 130 physical stores, Havan is one of the most complete department stores in Brazil, offering more than 100 thousand products to its users.

Main features of Havan e-commerce

Multichannel

WEBJUMP customized Havan’s e-commerce multichannel module to meet the customer’s omnichannel demand. The agency developed all the logic that allows the consultation of stocks in physical stores, via the website, and carried out the integration with the company’s CRM for automatic updating and parameterization of safety stock.

Pick Up Store

It was necessary to develop customizations in Magento to meet the demand for online purchase and withdrawal in the physical store. The system generates a code that allows the consumer to pick up the product at the chosen store, but for that, the platform needed to have access to the store’s inventory information.

Geolocation

Customization was also carried out to verify which physical stores closest to the user have the product they wish to purchase in stock. This is an implementation that also meets the demand for online purchase and in-store pickup.

Form Fields

Havan’s e-commerce serves both B2C and B2B. Therefore, WEBJUMP customized the fields of the legal entity registration form to comply with the B2B purchasing rules.

Private Label Card

Customization was carried out to place Havan’s own card as a means of payment. This was necessary to meet fraud verification requirements, which are carried out by the retailer itself.
