Arco Educação’s new platform for selling teaching materials will facilitate the purchase of school materials for more than 130,000 families.
In 2006, Arco was born with the mission of multiplying and expanding education of excellence through its own solutions and methodologies. Belonging to the Positivo Teaching System, it is focused on the pillars of quality content, educational technology and specialized services, contributing to the training and development of students. The company has already served more than 1.3 million students and 5,400 private schools throughout Brazil, from elementary to high school.

Main features of Arco Educação e-commerce
4 projects developed in the same Adobe Commerce framework
Two e-commerce projects were developed for Sistema Positivo de Educação, a company that is part of the Arco group. Loja na Escola provides the purchase of teaching materials in a safe and practical way, while Editora Positivo edits, publishes and sells textbooks, para-didactics, literature, theories and dictionaries. In addition, two other front-end support projects were carried out for the SAS and SAE initiatives, which offer specific content and solutions for different stages of development and learning.
B2B2C Project
The transactions of the Arco initiatives take place as follows: the Positivo system is acquired by the school, that is, a company-to-company transaction (business to business), however, the final acquisitions are carried out by the students’ parents, being a company relationship to the final consumer (business to consumer). In this way, its business model fits into B2B2C (business to business to consumer), which increases the complexity of e-commerce and generates the need for differentiated features to serve both audiences.
UX/ UI Design
Through various research and study tools, problems were identified and solutions were offered in order to guarantee a positive shopping experience, promoting high levels of satisfaction in aspects such as usability, fluidity, responsiveness, accessibility and intuitiveness, has become one of the main project objectives.
End-to-end experience
As in the physical world, in the virtual shopping model it is extremely essential to offer a good experience to the consumer, in order not only to make this customer’s journey better, but also to retain them and build loyalty to your brand. Hence the need for an end-to-end experience that delivers value to the consumer from their first contact with the brand (or vice versa) to post-sales.
Diversification of payment methods
To assist in the acquisition of materials, Arco’s electronic commerce offers diversified options for making payments, such as the use of a card together with a bank slip, two different cards, payment in installments and PIX.
Positivo ERP Integration
Seeking to centralize the information on a single platform, a management system was adopted that interconnects all the company’s data and processes, the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Some positive points of this type of system are the ease of communication between the sectors of the company and the favoring of analyses.
Pagar.Me Integration
Pagar.Me offers technological solutions that generate practicality and security in making payments for online sales. Through this premise, the startup becomes a great ally in increasing conversions in a simple way, as it offers a simple interface that does not require technical knowledge, while ensuring complete management in one place.
