Empório Nestlé, Nestlé’s first e-commerce project to be developed with the Starter Kit solution.

Nestlé is the largest food and beverage company in the world and is present in 99% of Brazilian homes. With 60 brands and more than 1,500 different products, the Nestlé Emporium is the products and brands store that makes the company’s entire portfolio available, ranging from chocolates, beverages, coffee, infant nutrition, pet food, and others.

In 2017, Nestle felt the need to invest in expanding its digital transformation projects. Through a partnership with WEBJUMP, we developed the Starter Kit an innovative solution that proposes the creation of an ecosystem within its platform that allows the development of new virtual stores. In this way, it was possible to generate savings of 25% to 45% in the investment for the development of new projects.

Initially, the Emporium’s sales were made only via marketplace, which generated high commission rates and did not evolve in line with the business needs. However, it became the company’s first expansion initiative to make use of the Starter Kit solution, with the objectives of redesigning the institutional website, developing its first virtual store, and ensuring independence beyond the limitations of its previous sales platform.

Main features of the Empório Nestlé e-commerce

Developed through the Starter Kit

Starter Kit consists of an innovative solution that aims to create a basic structure for the development and optimization of new e-commerce. The project has reduced time and costs, with the options of customization and profitability.

5 months of project development

The Empório Nestlé was developed 50% as long as the traditional one. The creation of the store was done from scratch to go-live, compared to developing projects the conventional way.

Sale of the entire range of Nestlé products

The D2C e-commerce is dedicated to selling the entire range of Nestlé products, from chocolates to dog food. Brands such as: Nescafé, Nespresso, Maggi, Nesfit, Starbucks At Home, Garoto, Purina, among others, offer their products inside the virtual store.

Delivery Brazil level

Delivery with fast freight module, allowing integration with multiple carriers and freight rules tracking order status, during product transportation.

Custom UI

The site interface was customized according to Nestlé Emporium’s needs, in order to improve its usability.

Adyen integration

Adyen is a payment gateway that allows merchants to integrate their payments from all stores and channels into one system. Homologated and customized with credit, boleto, PIX, and food voucher payment methods.

Innovative Solutions with Amasty

The Amasty platform provides Adobe Commerce compatible modules, designing innovative e-commerce solutions. In the Nestlé Emporium project several modules were used, among them are: Delivery Date, Layered Navigation Premium, Abandoned Cart, Product Labels, and One Step Checkout.

Quality delivery with Loggi

Loggi is a Brazilian company present in the country’s main capitals. With fast freight service that operates mainly in the e-commerce sector. For Empório Nestlé, Loggi is integrated with the Fast Shipping module, thus facilitating personalized, high-quality delivery.
